What Does KOOZA Mean?
The name KOOZA is inspired by the Sanskrit word “koza,” which means “box,” “chest” or “treasure,”. It was chosen because one of the underlying concepts of the production is the idea of a “circus in a box.”
In many ways KOOZA is a return to the origins of Cirque du Soleil: a show that highlights the physical demands of human performance, and is presented in a colorful ensemble that evokes bold, slapstick humor
The Acts

The Artist Troupe burst into action at the top of the show. The act highlights include human pyramids, towers with bodies flying through the air.

Three performers bend and stretch in ways unimaginable in a fresh approach to the art of contortion. What sets this performance apart are the artists innovative movements and positions, their speed, and the unique way they work in unison to create beautiful sequences.

Powerful, graceful, and distinctly feminine, a daring Aerial Silk performer flies into the sky, spinning and swinging in all directions in an effortless display of acrobatics. As she soars about, the long flowing dynamics of her motion come into focus, building excitement for a triumphant and climactic finish.

A twist on the classic unicycle number introduces a passenger to the action. Two performers create a pas de deux in constant motion around the stage with a combination of balance, acrobatic control, physical strength, and choreographic grace.

The twin high wires are suspended 15 feet (4.5 meters) and 25 feet (7.6 meters) above the stage. Their expert ability allows them to perform feats in the air that most of us would find difficult to do on the ground

The Wheel of Death rotates at heart-stopping speeds, powered only by two devilish artists who leap and counter-rotate in a fearless display of acrobatics and astonishing teamwork. The Wheel of Death is intentionally positioned to break with the usual on-stage symmetry and bring the action as close as possible to you

The artist shows exceptional balance, impressive dexterity, and a unique ability to spin, throw, twirl one, two, three or even multiple hoops.

So simple, yet simply jaw-dropping. the Balancing Chairs act spotlights the incredible muscular control of the human body in peak condition, as an artist stacks 8 chairs and a pedestal to create a 23ft (7m) towers. Up and up he climbs to perform a balancing act that will find you at the edge of your seat

Resembling a playground seesaw, the Teeterboard flings performers into the air where they execute quintuple twisting somersaults—and that’s just the prelude. Later in the act, you'll witness acrobats performing mind-bending stunts over 30 ft(9m) above the stage with double and single metal stilts strapped to thier legs
